This program provides a firm and broad basis in all of the main disciplines of classical Islamic scholarship.

It is specially designed for students and working professionals. It also provides insights into contemporary issues all the while covering core Islamic disciplines.

 

DESCRIPTION

Description: A comprehensive degree program based on the traditional curriculum of the ‘Aalim program, which provides a firm and broad basis in all of the main disciplines of classical Islamic scholarship:

Arabic language and its various sciences, detailed commentary of the entire Qur’an, hadith, Islamic law (fiqh), principles of legal methodology (usul al-fiqh), beliefs (aqeedah), biography of the Prophet saw (seerah), shamail, contemporary issues and Islamic spirituality.

This program has been specially designed and customized for students and working professionals to allow them to acquire knowledge of Deen despite their busy schedules. The program has been specifically designed for students who are comfortable studying in English. Students will be moved slowly to Arabic reading fluency so that they can study the different disciplines in the language of the scholars. This will typically involve covering various classical Arabic manuals in each Islamic discipline, thereby giving students a taste of the rich academic tradition.

SCHEDULE

Time Commitment: 8 hours per week

Classes will be conducted on the weekends to allow working men and students to manage this program along with other responsibilities

Days: Saturday & Sunday

Time: 7 30 am onwards
